LNER Class J50, 0-6-0 Tank | |||||||||||
PROTOTYPE. Gresley designed the class in 1922 for the GNR. The design became the LNER standard shunting engine, with 72 built. The class lasted until 1963. KIT. Because of the shape of the prototype this kit is a bit more complicated and challenging than the other 0-6-0 tank kits. The parts fit together well and a number of customers have said they enjoyed building it. The main body components are brass with a nickel silver chassis. Cab interior components and well-illustrated instructions are provided. |
